ABOUT US
A Boutique Clinic in the Heart of Milton
We're a small, close-knit practice — not a franchise. Our Registered Massage Therapists and Doctors of Chiropractic work together under one roof, so whatever brought you in, there's a plan built around what your body actually needs. Every visit starts with a conversation, not a routine, at the kind of clinic where your therapist remembers your last one.
Conveniently located right on Main Street in downtown Milton — 350 Main Street E, Unit 2A — just steps from shops and cafes in the downtown core.
Our Massage Therapy Team
Every session starts with a conversation, not a routine — our Registered Massage Therapists get to know how you’re doing before deciding how to help.
Sonia Mattacchione
B.Sc, B.Ed., RMT - Massage Therapist
With over two decades of experience, Sonia takes the time to understand what’s going on before she builds your treatment plan — every session is shaped around your specific goals, not a one-size-fits-all routine. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Science and a Bachelor of Education, and has practiced since graduating from Sutherland-Chan Massage Therapy School in 2001.
Her toolkit includes Swedish massage, myofascial techniques, trigger point therapy, manual lymphatic drainage, cupping therapy, Indian head massage, and TMJ assessment and treatment — so whatever brought you in, there’s a good chance she’s treated it before.
Lisa Puleo
RMT - Massage Therapist
Lisa is known for a methodical, client-centred approach — she’d rather ask a few extra questions upfront than guess. That attention to detail comes from experience: she’s worked with athletes and in maternity care at North York General Hospital, building particular expertise in repetitive strain injuries, sports-related conditions, and prenatal and postnatal massage.
She holds a Diploma in Massage Therapy from Elmcrest College (2008), is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, and has additional training in tension headaches and myofascial trigger points.
Our Chiropractic Team
Our chiropractors take the time to understand what’s actually going on before mapping out a plan — evidence-based care with the kind of attention you get from a small, focused practice.
Dr. Rachel Calabrese
BSc DC - Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Calabrese’s approach is evidence-based but never one-size-fits-all — she combines chiropractic adjustments, joint mobilizations, soft tissue therapy, and targeted exercises based on what your body actually needs. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College after a Bachelor of Science at McMaster University, with particular experience in concussion care, chronic pain, and injury management.
Outside the clinic she’s usually rock climbing, reading, or at the gym.
Dr. Mateo Marques
BHSc (Hons) Kinesiology, DC, CFAc
As a former elite soccer player, Dr. Mateo has been on the other side of the table — which shapes how he treats injury recovery and performance today. He blends a kinesiology background, six-plus years as a personal trainer, functional acupuncture certification, and chiropractic training from CMCC into a treatment style that combines adjustments, manual therapy, acupuncture, exercise, and education.
He has a particular interest in soccer injuries, neck pain, and TMJ disorders.
Dr. Avleen Bains
DC, BKin (Hons), CFAc - Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Avleen’s goal for every patient is simple: move with greater confidence, regain function, and get back to doing what you love. She draws on backgrounds in kinesiology, chiropractic, and acupuncture to build evidence-based care plans, with a particular interest in headaches, neck pain, and MSK-related peripheral neuropathy.
